World Peace (Water and Peace)

In the 1960’s I had seen him and heard his illuminating exhaustive and scholarly speech of one of the greatest British scientist Professor J B S halden who remained in Bhubaneswar for a couple of years. He donated his mortal body for ‘research in cancer’ when he was actively engaged in research too. His study room (a spacious hall) had more than hundreds of bookshelves packed with books and he was sitting at the extreme end of the spacious hall. I had the opportunity to enter his study room thrice to see the books in his library. I touched three volumes on water which was written by Professor jbs halden. After a half century we are trying to write a manuscript on ‘water and peace’ that could be a small step for ensuring peace to humanity peace to the governments peace to countries and peace to the world as water is the life-line of most of the visible mobile and immobile living beings including human beings animals and plant kingdom. The present manuscript entitled “water and peace” has included nine chapters depicting water for peace management of water water policies in countries water distribution and disputes water and Environment water Wars water scarcity and conflicts and trade in water and in the ninth Chapter we have opined that water can Award peace to the people animals and plants.
