This book is a collection of 44 letters and other related information about my great uncle William H. (Will) Skinner Jr. who was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg July 3rd 1863. v Will the oldest son of William H. Skinner and Harriet C. Skinner was born July 25 1841. v On August 8th 1862 Will was mustered in as a private in company F 108th Infantry at Rochester N.Y. for a service of three years. v Will was 21 years old 5'9 tall with light hair and complexion. v His occupation was listed as a farmer on land now owned by Piehler Pontiac on Lake Avenue across from Kodak Park (Hanford Landing Area). v Will played the violin liked music and was a good baseball player.
