Writers and psychiatry

The object of my research and my study aims at discovering and analyzing why and how some subjects suffering from psychiatric disorders find in writing the means to express this psychic suffering to transmute it into creative works like alchemists in order to perhaps exorcise it. These creators can be recognized writers and philosophers but also alienated people for whom writing represents a therapy. The motivation or the need to write for many writers novelists or poets comes from an uneasiness or an unhappiness of life.
