Instruction mediated by technological tools is a common practice in many contexts; however there are limitations that affect the development of the activity. Fear of dependence on technological resources lack of knowledge about their use and a strict adherence to writing as a process influence change. The change in question is necessary because of the importance of empowering multilingual writers in the work of creating writing editing and enriching their manuscripts and works. Many of the technological aids to translation and interpretation are slowly becoming part of the writer''s repertoire despite the resistance of pedagogical thinking at universities.
