The mayor of Denver Robert W. Speer admired the original work so much that he commissioned the artist to sculpt one in marble for Washington Park in Denver Colorado.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>The original bronze statue was donated by Fred Bailey in honor of his wife Elizabeth</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(0 0 0 0); color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Cameron Bailey.
