The book embodies the X-ray investigation to compare the elemental concentration of in vitro proliferated callus tissues and that of the naturally grown plants in order to explore the possibility of developing callus cultures as a viable alternative source of photochemical of pharmaceutical relevance. Present book entitled “ X-ray spectroscopic analysis of plant and callus” is based on the multi-elemental analysis of two selected medicinal plants named hemidesmus indicus (L.) R. Br. And hybanthus enneaspermus (L.) f V. Muell available in Orissa and whose roots have been ethnomedicinally used against diabetes served as the experimental material.
