Lea Luz Soto is a Latin artist who is known for her ability to express her inner thoughts of love, sadness, anger and the reality of the world we live in. Lea's poems are very expressive and heart felt. For example in her poem "Immigration" she express anger and sadness for the people who leave there families to come to this country to work, she explains how racism took and takes place with almost everyone in a place we call "Land of the Free" but in reality are people really free? Since Lea was a teenager she began to write poetry, she wrote always according to her mood in a green book she held for many years and lost on her move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When Lea lost her green book she stop writing because she felt a lost and thought she would get past poetry, but when her radio stopped playing in her car on her way to work she began to write again. Born in Cleveland, Ohio raised in Chicago, Illinois Lea loved her city life. She was a single mother for many years and struggled with her children to make the best living for each of them. Until just recently she married her Prince Charming as they make the best of every day and live happily.
