<p>Cali has had enough of reading books and clue-finding and the frustration of her longtime used-to-be friend Windy Cool's shenanigans. The thought of this not being over and all is more than enough to bear. However she has her friends and they do fight with her all the way to the end and her dog Chloe which the wicked purely hates. The fight that will ensue is the hope she brings to the other girls as Cali gets stronger smarter and well just a little clumsy. </p><p></p><p>Cali will try to do what is right what is good and all that is holy. She learns new skills with her staff and the magic the queen tries on her. Friends from far away come and give her strength to help in the end but there will be a fight as before. People and things want the power the queen wields and the time is coming. Never once have they wondered about Cali's power and what it means to be the keeper of the islands. Although Cali keeps searching for what this all means to her. </p><p></p><p>There will be pain frights and scares all along the way but the biggest question is: Why did Windy Cool abandon her? They were longtime friends and had lots of memories between them both. Windy also was friends with her mother. Cali cannot think the queen could have so much power to take all this away. Maybe Windy wants power as well because of her jealousy over Cali's money. Windy did not grow up with money. </p><p></p><p>Cali is prepared and this time it will be over with the queen no matter what because Cali is ready for the showdown of her young life as she avenges her mother. She hopes she can save Windy but it will be what it will be. She questions herself: If she does help Windy will she be the same? Could she ever trust her again? And what the hell will she tell her parents about Windy's whereabouts all this time? </p><p></p><p>The journey continues in Cali's quest to make sure the queen cannot win and take over the islands and then the world to rule as she sees fit. The people of the island know something but not enough to help-as if they would anyway. All they know is that when the weather changes and the big yellow moon appears in the night sky the journey comes to a head as both parties come to blows. Cali just hopes these new friends do not turn on her and that there is no unwritten agenda against her. However she continues on and moves forward in the night.</p>
