During his intriguing life his keen and insightful interest in his surroundings is evident in his memoirs. Henry M. King remained in India until November 1947. Carroll grew up in India England and Australia and currently resides near Albury NSW Australia. He is working on a collection of his own poems and a screenplay based on several of them.
