Yikes!

<p>Yikes! is the second book that I have written since retiring from the conventional workforce. Never being an avid reader of books myself it came as a surprise to many who know me when my first book (Oops!) was published. Unless something out of the ordinary occurs in my life I have no intention to use my remaining intellect to write another one.</p><p>However as I exit from the literary genre you have the privilege of being a recipient of my last minute decision and hence will receive an additional bonus as a result. Yes it's free. Below the next paragraph you will find the first and last poetic effort of my short literary career.</p><p></p><p>My favorite poem when I was growing up and still to this day is Trees by Joyce Kilmer. In contrast to me he was a true American writer/poet and it is unfortunate that his life was cut short in 1918 serving as a sergeant in the Fighting 69<sup>th</sup> during World War I. My poem is a spin-off of his well-known work and hopefully no one will take offense to it.</p>
