把属于东半球的美洲归入西方， 显然是一个常识错误。事实上， 美洲不仅有大西洋沿岸， 也有太平洋沿岸， 而且从人种与历史的角度看， 美洲与其说是西方的一部分， 不如说是东方的一部分， 而更为中立的说法应是世界的一部分。至于印度的事例就更为明显了--英法在印度和美洲的争夺以及美国的独立、日俄战争、第一次世界大战和第二次世界大战......都不仅仅是西洋军事史， 而且是世界军事史了。Synopsis: It is obviously a common sense error to classify America which belongs to the Eastern Hemisphere into the West. In fact the Americas have not only the Atlantic coast but also the Pacific coast. From the perspective of race and history the Americas are not so much part of the West as they are part of the East and a more neutral view should be part of the world. . As for the case of India the case is even more obvious-the British and French struggles in India and America the independence of the United States the Russo-Japanese War the First World War and the Second World War... are not just Western military history. And it's world military history.
