#Yo Soy 132 and Occupy

In comparing the Mexican youth movement #Yo Soy 132 and Occupy I consider how these groups work against the hegemonic views presented by mass media. I look at levels of Internet access in Mexico and the United States and determine how it affects their tactics and strategies. My thesis is a snapshot of how these movements currently function but I also aim to provide insight into how they are impacting the future of media.
