Berenadeta Lutua an indigenous Fijian has practised yoga for more than forty years. In an environment where her Christian sisters have great concern about the name 'Yoga' and its origin. With the fear of its influence on their Christian faith. In Yoga Challenge she details what happened to her after the first session that almost stopped her from continuing. Having no regrets about her decision to continue she shares the learning and the benefits. These include her deepened Christian faith. And how she has maintained her body flexibility from her teenage years into old age. With the endurance not to get tired easily and to carry out her many duties without stress. Also to remain mentally strong and stay calm in any situation. Remaining positive when conditions are unfavourable and having the ability to tackle negativity and deal with anxiety and depression. As these benefits will help improve lives she wants to share them. They cannot be attained however with the refusal to practise—the reason for this version. She hopes to enable her Christian sisters to have no reservations in practising yoga.
