About The Book

Did the title grab you? Was your first reaction Whats a bodhi tree? It is said that a bodhi tree is literally a pear tree but in the language of the Buddha it was a bodhi tree. As the Buddha sat under the tree he struggled with various forces and by doing so gained enlightenment. Newton centuries later underwent almost a similar experience only he sat under an apple tree. When the apple clonked him on the head the light he saw led him to discover the Law of Gravity. This book endeavors to create a similar experience for the reader namely to turn on the light of enlightenment without having to sit under a tree waiting for a piece of fruit or whatever to fall on ones head in order to see the light.
