You Got That From Me

How does a parent learn to love their children? How is it possible to love a person before you have ever even met them? What makes a parent's heart so willing to sacrifice their sleep their money their time and their entire heart to another human being? Why does a parent continue to love their children even after the sometimes tumultuous pre-teen teen-age and early adult years? What makes a parent's love ever-present always able to see the absolute best and never fail regardless of their children's words or actions? </p><br></p>I assure you that it is not because we are all wonderful people who possess patience beyond understanding. It is not because we have read 300 books on how to be the best parent ever. It is because we are created in the Father's image. Our heavenly Father created us to love as he loves; unconditionally patiently faithfully enduringly without regret remorse hostility or anger. As I reflected on my own unconditional love for my children and my grandchildren I soon realized that I Got That From Him!</p><p><br></p>
