Youth in transition: between hope revolt and resilience:This book explores the condition of contemporary youth particularly in changing African societies such as the DRC. Structured in three main sections it highlights the multiple faces of youth: sometimes actors of change sometimes victims of systemic crises.The book draws an anthropological and sociological portrait of youth analyzing its identity its transformations through history its anchorage in the digital world and its quest . The tensions experienced by young people: poverty marginalization forced migration but also their forms of resistance through activism humor or social networks.
