Yukido the Art of Health Care through Touch

<p>This book is a comprehensive manual of <em>Yukidō</em> care providing critical and innovative reflection on the sensitive phenomena associated with touch and health.</p><p>Drawing on over thirty years of collaborative work linking the Japanese medical art <em>Noguchi Seitai</em> traditional bonesetting as well as personal research <em>Yukidō</em> adopts an approach that questions commonly held healing beliefs and prejudices to move beyond them.</p><p>No one knows what the body can do. <em>Yukidō</em> takes Spinoza at his word allowing the mind/body unity itself to indicate the most adequate response to its needs.
