The Ox herder consists of a series of pictures painted by the Japanese Zen monk Tensho Shûbun. In this book Rune Ødegaard a seasoned Christian Gnostic teacher and Zennist shares his insights on the spiritual and psychological process displayed in these five-hundred-year-old images. Delving deeply into the spirit of Zen they may be regarded as a journey from seeking Zen to simply being Zen. This journey is a lifelong transforming story yet at the same time nothing special. It is a journey to Nowhere.
