Zoonoses in Developing Countries

Recent population growth urbanization increasingincomes and changes in diet preferences are creatinga massive growth in demand for animal products in thedeveloping world. This trend has resulted in a higherconcentration of animals in urban and peri-urbanareas. This poses a risk of introducing zoonoses tourban areas.
