Zugzwang

<p>Denice Lovett's <strong>debut poetry book Zugzwang: A Poetry Collection</strong> offers a <strong>reflection on the tumultuous events of the early 2020s including the pandemic racial unrest and political upheaval.</strong> Through her introspective journey Lovett found strength in her <strong>African American</strong> Intersectional <strong>Feminist and Female identities</strong> using them breaking free from the harsh stereotypes and assumptions placed upon her by <strong>American</strong> society at large. </p><p>   This collection of <strong>poems</strong> invites readers to join her in debating the environment of the world us and offers moments of connection and reflection.
