Anne of the Island

<p>A new bend in the road leads Anne away from her beloved Avonlea to the bustling city of Kingsport. Here Anne joins her old Queens chums Stella and Priscilla for four fulfilling years at Redmond College. Anne misses Green Gables Marilla the twins Mrs. Lynde and of course her bosom friend Diana so much in the first few months that she can't remember why she thought going to college was a good idea. But as time goes on she settles into a satisfying routine with new friends like Philippa Gordon and old friends like Gilbert Blythe by her side.</p><p>Her years at college on the island are filled with joys sorrows and so many surprises. Potential beaux--welcome and unwelcome story publication ornery cats and the acquisition of the most charming cottage called Patty's Place of all things. </p><p>As Anne's friends begin to fall in love and marry she takes another look at the ideal man she's held in her heart since she was a girl. She doesn't want to settle for someone ordinary like Diana did but maybe her dream is too good to come true. </p><p>When her actual Prince Charming appears romantic dashing and broody Anne has to decide if he belongs in her life or if she just imagines he does. </p><p></p>
