<p>Moving to Chicago was supposed to be my fresh start-a tiny cluttered apartment a manageable workload and absolutely no distractions. But then Lucas happened. He's the kind of guy who makes you question everything: a walking enigma wrapped in leather jackets and an impossibly knowing smile. We're opposites in every way and yet somehow he's everywhere. Leaving notes sharing books and unlocking pieces of me I thought were buried for good. I thought I had him figured out until his words started to feel less like casual banter and more like a challenge. Now I'm standing at the edge of something I can't quite name drawn in by the tension that fills the air every time we're in the same room. And the scariest part? I'm not sure I want to step back. Lucas has a way of blurring the lines I've spent my whole life drawing. He's daring me to dive into the unknown and for the first time I wonder-what happens if I do?</p>
