<p>The first edition of Stray Birds was completed in 1916 and included 325 short poems some of which were translated from the author's Bengali poetry collection and the other part was the author's English poetry. When reading poetry readers seem to be perched by the window while summer birds sing and fly by the window. These poems cover themes such as nature humanity and the environment in which people live.
