The Gardener

The Gardener' is a narrative novel. The majority of the love and life lyrics that are translated from Bengali and released in this book were composed much earlier than the collection of religious poems found in the book Gitanjali. Even the finest lines in Gitanjali cannot compare to the quality and sincerity of the verses in this book. In these verses he shifts his emphasis from a love for a woman to a love for men Earth the universe and life in general. Physical and emotional love is only one of life's wonderful elements; his love for a lady is merely the inspiration for his magical verses in which he extols life.
