The History of Spiritualism Vol. II

The book is divided into two parts with the first part providing a detailed examination of spiritualism in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This includes an examination of the rise of spiritualism in Europe and the United States as well as the key figures and events that shaped the movement during this time. The second part of the book focuses on Doyles personal experiences with spiritualism including his own investigations into psychic phenomena and his beliefs about the afterlife. He also includes a variety of case studies and examples of psychic phenomena that he believes provide evidence for the existence of spiritualism. Like Volume I The History of Spiritualism Volume II remains an important work in the history of spiritualism and is still widely read and studied today. While some of Doyles claims have been criticized by skeptics the book provides a valuable insight into the development of spiritualism and the beliefs and experiences of its most dedicated proponents.
